OBIETTIVI FORMATIVI

Il corso, che prevede una conoscenza almeno di base della lingua inglese, è finalizzato al potenziamento delle principali strutture linguistiche in modo tale da mettere lo studente nella condizione di comprendere agevolmente testi di natura scientifica. Si procederà ad un ripasso e approfondimento delle principali strutture morfosintattiche di livello intermedio (B1), nonché alla lettura e analisi di testi scientifici specifici del settore o di materiali forniti dal docente sui principali ambiti disciplinari affrontati nel corso di studi.

PROGRAMMA DI MASSIMA DEL CORSO

Verb Tenses and Forms: Present Simple, Present Continuous, Past Simple, Past Continuous, Present Perfect Simple, Present Perfect Continuous, Past Perfect Simple, Past Perfect Continuous, Present Simple and Continuous for the future, To be going to, Will/Shall, Simple Present for the future with if/while/when/before/after/until/as soon as, Passive Form (all tenses).

Modal Verbs: Can, Could, Be able to, Must and Can’t for deductions, Must and Have to for obligation, Mustn’t vs. Don’t have to/Don’t need to/Needn’t, Didn’t need to vs. Needn’t have done, May and Might, Should and Ought to, Can/Could/May/Would for requests, offers, permissions, invitations.

Conditionals: Zero, First, Second and Third Conditional, Wish + simple past/past perfect.

Relatives: Relative Pronouns, Defining vs. Non-Defining Relative Clauses.

MODALITÀ D’ESAME

Esame scritto (grammar test) con esercizi di completamento di frasi volti a testare la conoscenza degli argomenti in programma. 

N.B.: CHIUNQUE SIA IN POSSESSO DI UNA CERTIFICAZIONE LINGUISTICA CAMBRIDGE ESOL DI LIVELLO B1 (O SUPERIORE) / TRINITY GRADE 6 (O SUPERIORE) / TOEFL / IELTS liv. 4.5 (O SUPERIORE) HA DIRITTO AL RICONOSCIMENTO DELL'IDONEITA' DI LINGUA INGLESE. Lo studente dovrà: 1) inviare tale certificato alla docente (in formato PDF) per un parere definitivo; 2) prenotarsi al primo appello utile; 3) presentarsi il giorno dell’esame con il certificato e un documento di riconoscimento per poter procedere alla verbalizzazione.
