In addition to text books, a collection of recent research and review papers will be provided in class (as references in the lecture notes).

Papers can be downloaded from https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/classic-form. Papers can be usually downloaded as

  1. Preprint: can be freely downloaded
  2. Editorial version: These can be generally downloaded, although for some journal (such as Nature or Science) you have to be connected to the physics network. Otherwise, a charge might apply. 
In general, there is no difference other than editorial between the two versions.
