Pre-reading: what is EBM?
Each short exercises in this course present you with a problem. The solution to this problem will require you to search and analyze clinical evidence and come to a decision. EBM or 'evidence based medicine is the basis of this approach.. The reason you need to use English in medicine is essentially to be able to access the best evidence. This is to help you make the best clinical decision about a patient. In the lessons you will meet patients with problems and discover how the clinical evidence can help you discuss choices with your patients and colleagues.
