I only used my first combination to search about treatments of celebral malaria. One of the most interesting result is about some researches on the nanostructured lipid-carriers of Arthemeter-Lumefantin that can be administer for intravenous therapy. This kind of therapy is important in the treatment of this infection because of the inability of this patient to take oral medication due to impaired consciousness and vomiting. The lipid-carriers showed sustained drug release, amenability to autoclaving, compatibility with infusion fluids, good stability, complete parasite clearance and reversal of CM symptoms with 100% survival in Plasmodium berghei-infected mice, and safety in rats.
