What aspect of the Italian educational system would you change?

I think that italian educational system it's one of the best, so there isn't a lot to change in it. It is certainly true that it's a lot focused on merorizing things and that it doesn't teach you some practical activities, but I believe that is very important to be able to remember the concepts studied, because it's one of the better way to make your own knowledge wider.
Moreover, the italian education has the good feature of giving you a base information about all the principal study's areas, so that also a not-graduate person could have a good instruction that covers more fields of knowledge: this is foundamental for the formation of a critical thinking.
The only negative thing I would change in our education is the method used in learning foreign languages: in school, you rarely practice them, therefore you are not used to express yourself in a language which is not your own and you improve very slowly.
