Surely our parents used to spend a lot of their free time outside, meeting with their friends, while in our generation is more common remaining home, using computers and smartphones to keep in contact with other people. But I also think that during these years, it hasn't only changed the way you spend your free time, but also the amount of leisure time. Indeed, in the latest years the society's rythm has increased a lot: you have to do more and more things in the same day, so that's not easy to find some time for yourself. This can be connected to the changments which have taken place in spending spare time: indeed, if you can have more leisure time, you'll probably use it meeting your friends, instead of calling them or using online chats.
