The school, intended for university students, is focused on selected topics in exoplanet research and stellar physics, and includes:

Introductory lectures on exoplanets and astronomical observations held by researchers from the Astronomical Observatory of Palermo on September 11th and 12th, 2025;
-
Two nights of observations at the International Center for Astronomical Sciences – Gal Hassin in Isnello (PA) on the nights of September 13th and 14th;
-
Return to Palermo on September 16th;
-
Follow-up hybrid-format meetings for data analysis and presentation of results.
Participation in the school is limited to 20 students.
There is no registration fee, and the school will cover meals, accommodation, and transportation (to/from Palermo) for the period spent in Isnello (September 13–16).
Meals and accommodation in Palermo on September 11–12, as well as travel costs to/from Palermo at the beginning and/or end of the school, are not covered.
The deadline to apply is July 20th, 2025, at 12:00 PM (CEST).
