Final Exam

The final exam of Radar Systems is verified through two tests:

1. a written test (30% of the final grade), in which the student is asked to carry out a design exercise for a radar system, which provides the value its main parameters. 

2. a second test (70% of the final grade), which requires answering open questions on the principle of operation of the systems, related processing techniques or performance.

Written test:  

1. it is a design exercise of one global radar sensor or of a set of processing stages able to provide some specified requirements;
2. it is carried out in the exam classroom during the specific written exan time;
3. it has  a time limit of 3 hours.

"In itinere" Tests:  

1. are assigned, and must be completed, during the semester of the course  trough the Sapienza e-learning platform;
2. they can be used as a replacement of the written test (if all tests as passes with a minimum score of 3 out ot 10);
3. they are valid for every exam session that the stuident is allowed to used until  February 2027 included, but these are NOT valid for the  Special session of March/April 2027.

Second test:  

1. Those who complete the written test in the traditional manner will be called for the oral exam at the end of the written test;
2. Those who have completed all the midterm tests and wish to use them in place of the written exam can register for the oral exam on one of the dates available on e-learning (below). Reservations can only be made for one oral exam date. Cancellations are possible only before the closing date for reservations. (Please note: those who cancel their oral exam reservation must cancel their reservation before the closing date for reservations. Otherwise, they will no longer be able to directly register for an oral exam, and the only option left is to take the written exam.)
3. If the number of students who have booked is high, the oral exam for those who have a high number of bookings may be held in the following days, depending on the availability of the teachers..
