I think that leisure time (as we mean it) has a completely different meaning  from what our grandparents (or even parents) called "leisure time". Nowadays technology has a central role in our lives, so in our leisure time too: chatting with friends, playing videogames, social networks, are new activities that people, especially youth, do almost daily, while in the past most common activities in our leisure time were going out for a walk, meeting friends in a cafe, going to the cinema, going to a disco or a concert. Some of these activities are still present in our leisure time, but we do them less frequently than before. In conclusion, today's leisure time is richer of opportunities to spend it than before.
