Welcome to the 2024 course of European Union Law and Human Rights!

This semester's program will be divided into 3 main parts:

1.  The EU and its legal order and institutions

2. The EU's external relations and its Common Foreign and Security Policy

3. The EU and its role in promoting the principles of sustainable development, the rule of law and human rights in its relations with the rest of the world.

You will find the textbooks you need to study in the feed for the first week of the course.

Class schedule will be as follows:

Tuesdays, from 12 to 4 p.m., in classroom Blu 2 in the main Campus. Since this will be a very long class, we will have a long break from 1.45 to 2.15, so we can eat and rest a bit.

Wednesdays, from 4 to 6 p.m., in classroom Blu 4 in the main Campus.

We will start on Tuesday, September 24th.

The exam will be oral, starting with the January 2025 session. During the course, however, there will be written assignments/short essays and/or presentation projects that will cover parts of the program and concur to the final grade, as I will explain more in detail on the first days of class.

Enrolling on this e-learning platform is required, because this is the place where I will post textbooks and additional materials for the course, and the slides I am going to use for classes. Here you will also find the assignments and deliver them.

I hope you will enjoy this course!
