The course aims at presenting to graduate students a variety of topics
in Antenna Engineering, including modeling, design, and numerical
aspects as well as a selection of CAD tools. The main arguments are:
review of antenna fundamentals and parameterization, arrays (advanced
modeling and MIMO systems), periodic structures, microstrip and
dielectric-resonator antennas, leaky-wave antennas and arrays, boundary
integral equations and the method of moments (and related CAD). A number
of seminars on cutting-edge antenna topics are also programmed at the
end of the course.
