The aim of the course is to provide guidance on the methods, principles, historiography and procedures of architectural history, how to read shapes, structures, materials and environment of architecture, and how to do research in architectural history. Through this training in the historical interpretation and critical analysis of the architecture, the student develops the skills of visual discrimination and technical expression, fundamental to examine the peculiar features of buildings and urban areas.
