Il corso è dedicato alla traduzione del testo teatrale polacco in lingua italiana e introduce gli studenti alle principali problematiche della traduzione per il teatro. Attraverso l'analisi di opere rappresentative della drammaturgia polacca, dal Rinascimento alla contemporaneità, il corso affronta temi quali l'oralità, il ritmo, il comico, gli elementi culturali e il rapporto tra traduzione, adattamento e rappresentazione scenica. Le lezioni teoriche saranno integrate da laboratori di traduzione e dall'analisi comparata di traduzioni, adattamenti teatrali e trasposizioni cinematografiche.

 

This course focuses on the translation of Polish dramatic texts into Italian and introduces students to the main issues of theatre translation. Through the study of representative works of Polish drama, from the Renaissance to the present day, students will explore topics such as orality, rhythm, humour, culture-specific elements, and the relationship between translation, adaptation, and theatrical performance. The course combines theoretical discussion with translation workshops and comparative analyses of translations, stage adaptations, and film versions.
