Dear Students,

for your final year of English for Medical Purposes you need to complete an Evidence-Baased Medicine (EBM) project and present your results in a short 10-12 minutre oral presentation using Powerpoint. This contributes 15/30 marks of your final exam

The project will start from  a patient you have encountered on the wards. You will need to ask some focussed questions regarding Diagnosis or Therapy or Harm or Prognisis and search for best evidence on medical databased to find answers. You will then need to present the evidence you find critically by drawing on your knowledge of basic notions of EBM. The resources to help and guide you are here on Moodle.
