The course aims to provide students with:

- The principles of sustainability and circular economy applied to Environmental Protection

- the theoretical aspects and design criteria of innovative tertiary processes for the treatment of industrial wastewater

- Basic and advanced knowledge on the characterization and treatment of contaminated sites (land reclamation and groundwater treatment)

- The chemical-physical fundamentals of the design of units for the treatment of industrial and hazardous waste, aimed at the recovery of material and energy

L’insegnamento si propone di fornire agli studenti:

-      -  I principi della sostenibilità ed economia circolare applicate alla tutela dell’ambiente

-      -  i fondamenti teorici e i criteri di progettazione dei processi terziari innovativi per il trattamento delle acque di scarico industriali

-       - le nozioni di base e avanzate in materia di caratterizzazione e trattamento dei siti contaminati (bonifica di terreni e trattamento di acque di falda)

-       - i fondamenti chimici e fisici per la progettazione delle unità per il trattamento dei rifiuti industriali, finalizzato al recupero di materia e di energia
