The course aims to provide the
necessary knowledge to the design and management of safety and maintenance of
industrial systems, considered as complex production systems.

To this end, the course deals with the handling of hazardous phenomena that can
occur in a productive activity, provides information on laws and existing good
practice in this regard and introduces methodologies for systems analysis
useful to anticipate and manage unexpected phenomena in the operation
machinery, equipment and facilities.

Particular emphasis is given to the services to guarantee the safety of any
system, especially in view of some significant trends (facility management,
global services and outsourcing).
