The aim of the course is to provide first year students with the theoretical
references, methods and tools of urban planning and landscape design, to recognize and represent both the
structure and changes of the city and territory in relation to the specific
environmental, social and cultural dynamics. The training objective is to
experiment the analysis, interpretation, evaluation and definition of strategic
planning goals with reference to an urban context strongly related to its
surrounding landscape.
