The aim of the course is to drive the students through  the main aspect of the medicinal chemistry with a focus on the identification of new drugs by computer aided drug design methods. 

The general aspect of the Med Chem will be discussed: definitions, pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, drug discovery and SAR. All field will be discussed by analysing case studies.

At the end of the course the Student should be able to clearly understand the process of the drug discovery and to manage a medicinal chemistry problem
