The course aims at address issues related
to the recovery of natural and man-made environments, giving priority to the
protection and enhancement of cultural and environmental heritage in urban,
peri-urban and rural environments.

 The
methodological approach will be divided into phases: observation,
interpretation, and evaluation of the structure of the city and identification
of problems related to the conservation of the architectural heritage and
definition of possible interventions.

The design approach will be interrelated
and directed to the critical management of complex balance (regulation of
transformation dynamics) that, between conservation and development, in urban
areas, they involve cultural and environmental heritage. Within the thematic
area of urban, environmental and landscape regeneration and of the
redevelopment of cultural and architectural heritage, the operational framework
will include an organic and correlated complex of urbanistic and architectural
value activity and will involve the enhancement and the recovery and activate a
strategy of project aimed at restoring balance to the processes of management
and transformation of cities.
