Nonhuman primates – monkeys and apes - arguably
represent the best animal models for research on the biological (genetic,
neurobiological, physiological) regulation of human behavior as well as its
evolutionary history and significance. This course explores many aspects of
human behavior, development, reproduction, cognition, emotions, and motivation
from a comparative perspective, examining both human and nonhuman primate
research.
