The course presents the most advanced multimedia systems and services, like streaming, broadcasting, video e voice over IP, video conference call.  Students gain insight into the architectural and technological issues involved in communication oriented multimedia systems. Besides, students will achieve a big picture of multimedia systems design, including signal processing as well as networking issues, and will be able to analyse and design solutions for emerging multimedia services (e.g. 360 degree video, video streaming in LTE, etc).
