Prerequisite: intermediate level (B1)

The aim of the course is to provide students with the practice necessary in order to acquire academic writing, speaking and reading comprehension skills. 

Articles from different sources (e.g. CNN, BBC, National Geographic, The Times) will be analyzed so as to present grammar, language structures, vocabulary, collocations and other aspects of language related to English in real linguistic contexts. Throughout the course, some aspects of English pronunciation will also be dealt with.
