This 12-credit course is based on the first eight units of Keynote Upper Intermediate (published by National Geographic/Cengage). Each unit is built around an edited TED Talk and includes a grammar section and a short reading as well. (You will be responsible for the first three sections of every unit).

The exam is a multiple-choice test on the key vocabulary found in the first three sections (from the TED Talk transcript, the exercises in the grammar section, and the reading in section 3), as well as the grammar for each unit. You must pass this test with an 18 to go on to the Linguistics exam with the docente.

To gain extra points, you can take the Optional Listening Exam that will be held in May.
